You want to grab my what???

Ohhhh..."BUTTON" you say?  What do you mean?  What's a button?
I should grab your "button" too?  Now I am really confused!

There is so much to learn about the blogging world and
new lingo to learn as well.  It can get confusing and
frustrating at times, but overall it's a lot of fun trying
to figure all this out as I go!

I know what "buttons" are, but how do I get one?
How do I grab one?
How do you add a link to your Facebook page?
"What's a permalink" I ask in a sweet child-like voice
just beckoning someone to help me!!!

I've posted in some linky, dinky furniture party thingys
(you furniture/home decor people know what I"m talking about)
on Miss Mustard Seed, Perfectly Imperfect and probably other sites
but I don't know if I did a permalink or not so...........

A shout out to my fellow bloggers out there to send me any tips
you might have about blogging and setting up a blog site!

And yes, I said tips...get your mind out of the gutter and have a great day  ;)

  1. Haha yes blogging is a steep learning curve, isn't it? I made my own button following the great advice I found on google, here is the particular link http://oikology101.blogspot.com/2008/09/make-your-own-button-for-your-blogger.html I will admit I had to read it a few times for it to sink in, but all the info is there and if you follow it step by step it really does work :) Good luck!

  2. Well Paula... I can truly relate!! I also am re defining my life after incapacity and a newbie blogger! Restyled vintage has it dead on! It is a huge learning curve, but good for my 'old' mind. There is only so much I could google so I hired a mentor for a few weekly telephone lessons. It was really helpful and she started me on wordpress and is a constant encouragement. I'm not sure if I am allowed to link her (or whatever you call it.. lol) but this is where I'd get ahold of her. http://www.internetmarketingformommies.com/ Her name is Jackie Lee and has been a great help to me... I also love reviving tired/old/vintage/unloved furniture and am new to ASCP and ran across your blog... keep up the good work and I will pop buy again to see what you have newly created! Twila
